NEED HELP WITH YOUR CHILDREN DURING THIS TIME?

COVID-19 UPDATE

As of September 2020

Parents & Guardians,
We hope this letter finds you and your family safe and feeling well. As we continue to find the appropriate balance through these surreal times, we want to give you an update of the programs going on in our center.
PSCLC has two GA Lottery Pre-k programs for this school year. We have a face-to-face & online virtual classroom. Our teachers have been working very hard to ensure these students get the very best out of this school year although it looks very different from previous years. We will continue to enroll for both of these programs.
PSCLC hosted a limited number of school-age students in our Learning Pod while their schools started as "virtual learning" for the first several weeks of the school year.
Finally, our infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, enrolled in small numbers, are receiving lots of love and attention from our Learning Center teachers. Please let us know if your family has interest in returning to our program before January 2021. Space is limited.
Our top priority continues to be the health and safety of our staff and the families. We will continue to follow the established COVID guidelines provided by our licensing agency Bright from the Start (BFTS). COVID procedures that will remain in place are:

  • Parents will drop off and pick up students at the front door.
  • Each child’s temperature will be taken upon arrival to check for fever and a visual inspection of the child to make sure they are not sick. Any child displaying any symptoms will not be able to attend that day.
  • Staff will be equipped and wear masks throughout the day
  • Classroom size is very limited based on enrollment and COVID guidelines
  • The site director will sign each child in and out daily during this time

Following these guidelines and procedures, we are confident that we can continue to provide quality childcare in a clean, healthy and safe environment.
